Terms of Service

Effective Date: February 25, 2026 Last Updated: February 25, 2026

By accessing or using Sentinacle (“the Service”), operated by Sentinacle Security Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Sentinacle is an automated software tool that performs static code analysis, transaction simulation, and pattern matching against known vulnerability databases on publicly available smart contract code. Results are presented as machine-generated forensic reports, including a numeric indicator referred to as the “Trust Score.”

The Service is not, and shall not be construed as, a security audit, a certification, a financial advisory service, or any form of professional consultancy. No human auditor reviews the results. The output is entirely algorithmic and automated.

2. Trust Score — Critical Disclaimer

The “Trust Score” is a numeric indicator derived from automated heuristics, not a definitive security assessment. You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  • A high Trust Score (e.g., 90/100) does not mean a contract is safe, legitimate, or free of vulnerabilities. It merely indicates that the specific automated checks performed at that moment did not flag certain known patterns.
  • A low Trust Score does not constitute a definitive determination that an asset is fraudulent.
  • The Trust Score is not a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or interact with any digital asset.
  • The Trust Score can change at any time as new data becomes available, contracts are upgraded, or liquidity conditions shift.
  • The Trust Score does not account for team integrity, market manipulation, social engineering, governance attacks, oracle manipulation, or any off-chain factors.

You must never rely solely on the Trust Score to make financial or investment decisions. The Trust Score is provided “as is” and generates no legitimate expectation of safety or profitability, regardless of how high the numeric value is.

THE SERVICE DOES NOT PROVIDE FINANCIAL, INVESTMENT, TAX, OR LEGAL ADVICE. All information, reports, Trust Scores, verdicts, and analysis outputs are provided for informational and educational purposes only.

3.1 Automated Verdicts

The Service generates automated verdicts and descriptive summaries based on algorithmic analysis. These are purely descriptive and informational. Any language in the verdict that may appear suggestive, imperative, or actionable (such as “safe to interact,” “proceed with caution,” or similar expressions) shall be interpreted exclusively as a summary of the automated analysis results, not as personal advice, recommendation, or instruction to perform any action. The automated system has no knowledge of your personal financial situation, investment goals, or risk tolerance.

4. No Guarantee of Accuracy

The Service relies on publicly available blockchain data, third-party APIs, and proprietary scanning engines. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant or guarantee that:

  • Analysis results are complete, current, or error-free.
  • All vulnerabilities, risks, or malicious patterns in a smart contract will be detected.
  • Transaction simulations will accurately predict real-world outcomes.
  • Automated verdicts reflect the definitive security posture of any protocol.

Blockchain technology, smart contracts, and DeFi protocols are complex and evolving rapidly. Our tools may produce false positives, false negatives, or incomplete assessments. You must always conduct your own independent research (DYOR) before interacting with any smart contract or digital asset.

5. Assumption of Risk

You expressly acknowledge and assume the following risks:

  • Market Risk: The value of digital assets is highly volatile and can result in total loss.
  • Smart Contract Risk: Even contracts that receive high Trust Scores may contain undiscovered vulnerabilities, backdoors, or upgradeable proxy logic that can be exploited after analysis.
  • Regulatory Risk: The legal status of digital assets varies by jurisdiction and may change without notice.
  • Technology Risk: Blockchain networks, RPCs, and third-party services may experience outages, forks, or failures.
  • Counterparty Risk: We have no control over, relationship with, or endorsement of the developers, teams, or entities behind the contracts we analyze.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SENTINACLE SECURITY LABS, ITS FOUNDERS, DEVELOPERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service.
  • Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in analysis results, Trust Scores, or automated verdicts.
  • Financial losses resulting from investment decisions made in reliance on our reports.
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or transmissions.
  • Any third-party actions, products, or services accessed through the Service.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6.1 Monetary Cap

In any event, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us for the Service during the six (6) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If you have not paid anything, our maximum total liability shall not exceed fifty euros (€50).

6.2 Jurisdictional Limitations

Some jurisdictions (including the European Union) do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for negligence, fraud, or willful misconduct. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sentinacle Security Labs and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Any investment or transaction decisions you make based on information obtained through the Service.
  • Any claim by a third party resulting from your reliance on, or redistribution of, our analysis results.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, software, algorithms, reports, designs, logos, and trademarks associated with Sentinacle are the exclusive property of Sentinacle Security Labs. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our scanning engines or pattern-matching algorithms.

9. User Accounts, Wallet Authentication, and Payments

  • You may access the Service by connecting a compatible cryptocurrency wallet or by creating an email-based account.
  • You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet and credentials.
  • We do not store private keys and have no ability to recover lost or compromised wallets.

9.1 Payments and Refunds

Paid subscriptions are managed through Stripe (for fiat) or on-chain stablecoin transfers (for crypto).

All payments are non-refundable, except where mandatory under applicable law.

9.2 European Union — Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to withdraw from a digital content purchase within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason, unless you have given your prior express consent to the immediate provision of the digital content and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. By subscribing and agreeing to these Terms, you expressly consent to immediate access to the Service and acknowledge that you waive your 14-day right of withdrawal.

10. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Perform automated scraping, crawling, or data extraction at abusive volumes.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our scanning engines.

  • Use the Service to facilitate fraud, market manipulation, or money laundering.

11. Sanctions Compliance and Geographic Restrictions

You represent and warrant that:

  • You are not located in, organized under the laws of, or a resident of any country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions by the United States (OFAC), the European Union, the United Nations, or the United Kingdom.
  • You are not listed on any sanctions list, including but not limited to the OFAC Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list, the EU Consolidated Financial Sanctions list, or any equivalent list maintained by another governmental authority.
  • You will not use the Service to analyze, validate, or provide any form of legitimacy to wallets, contracts, or protocols that are directly associated with sanctioned entities or illicit activity.

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Service for any user or wallet address that we reasonably believe is associated with sanctioned jurisdictions or entities, without prior notice or liability.

12. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. The Service may be subject to scheduled maintenance, unplanned outages, or rate limiting. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without prior notice.

13. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated through the platform or via email where possible.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its original intent.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Madrid, Spain, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise (in which case the courts of the consumer’s habitual residence shall have jurisdiction).

For users within the European Union, you may also submit disputes to the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
